Nowadays, a chemical modification of pure titanium\u00a0 is usually used for oral implants, acting as artificial roots. After their placement in the maxilla or upper jaw, once they are osseointegrated, they will support new artificial teeth, joined to them. These implants provide a strong foundation for fixed teeth, without using adjacent teeth. Therefore, they help to restore the mouth functionally, aesthetically, with high quality and accuracy. These implants do also help us to get a better anchoring in case of movable dental prosthetics, which will help the patient to feel the comfort and safety that fixed prosthetics provide.<\/p>\n

    No, it is not, as it is always performed with local anesthesia and, sometimes, with sedation or general anesthesia<\/p>\n
